Artist Statement

We live in a world that thrives on constant change. This year’s theme of “Metamorphosis” invites the audience to explore the transformative power of fashion as both an art form and a personal expression. My collection embodies the journey of evolution—where each garment reflects a stage of growth, shedding old identities and embracing new possibilities.

Inspired by the natural world, this show draws parallels between the life cycles of butterflies, flowers, and even urban landscapes, illustrating how beauty emerges from transition. Fabrics are chosen for their transformative qualities, with textures that shift from rigid to ethereal, mirroring the complexities of human experience.

Color plays a pivotal role. It represents the emotional spectrum of metamorphosis. Rich and vibrant hues signify moments of passion and awakening, while softer, muted tones evoke introspection and serenity. Each piece tells a story—of struggle, resilience, and ultimately, liberation.
